Apokoronas

Apokoronas is located in the east of Chania and has borders with the prefecture of Rethymno. It is consisted of both highland and lowland villages that stand out for their beauty. The larger villages are Vryses, Vamos and Kalives and worth a visit Gavalochori, Kokkino Horio and Aptera.

The main activities in the region have to do with farming and livestock operations, and there is also a significant building development.
